The Museum

The Yellow Fever Martyrs Church and Museum was founded in 1995 under the auspices of the Historic Heritage Preservation Corporation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  The Museum was first opened to the public in 2000.  For almost twenty years, the Yellow Fever Martyrs Museum has remained the only museum in the United States dedicated to the Yellow Fever, a deadly disease which killed over 100,000 Americans between 1693 and 1905.  See below for a gallery of our home, the old St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and many of the Museum’s exhibits and artifacts.
